RussKie They're hard to explain but i will definitely. But for now, this bug has higher priority for me. Any ideas? Can you successfully perform other operations - e. Can you please provide more info on your issue?

RussKie previous versions work well. And as far as i tested, Yes, other operations work and the problem seems to be only related to push dialog window.

Here's a screenshot but i'm not sure if it helps: I'm not really familiar with the debugging tools to provide you with more info, is there a document for it? EbenZhang Yes, I have remotes. When will this fix be added to the builds? Same problem, happened when I init'ed a new fresh repo, staged and commited files, click Push button then NPE error.

This issue was fixed by EbenZhang in 11d However it is yet to be published. I have the same problem The master branch, the push menu opens but when I actually try to push to a remote server it crashes.

I'm running into a similar problem, too. It was proceeded by Git Extensions becoming completely unresponsive, and the only way I could get it shut down was a reboot. Already up to date. All repositories on our internal instance of Bitbucket. This issue does not occur against GitHub. I suspect that it is because we our admin implemented single sign on. I am not using ssh for the repositories in question only https. I can provide the URL, but only if contacted directly I don't want to expose it here.

I am seeing the same thing using 2. Reverting back to 2. I'm getting the same on internal BitBucket server as well with 2. I can see this issue appear only when interacting with http repos.

I'm guessing that the PR Treat null credentials and tokens as invalid; not as exception errors may be involved from a cursory glance at the various commits that are included in v1. Installing the previous version of git credential manager, 1. Ultimately, someone will need to have a careful look at probably the format of the credentials being passed to see what caused that 'null reference' that is now being treated as 'fatal'. I'm assuming this will be fixed in an upcoming version of git as well?

That is, distributing the new credential manager. I've been able to fix it by: git config credential. However, I was going to revert to 2. Not ideal because it stores the credentials in a text file according to the article, but I am working again.

This comment nails it: it is fixed in Git Credential Manager v1. To answer the implied question I cannot answer the explicit question whether you assume this : yes, the next official Git for Windows version will have a new Git Credential Manager version.

Edit Nov : As pgsandstrom says in the comment, Git has released a new version that also contains a newer GCM. You can download it here: Git Releases. The interim fix, until Git releases a new version with the updated GCM is to simply install the new version of Git Credential Manager yourself. So go download the latest version from here and install it and it should fix your issues. Note that it is not clear to me whether this is a fault introduced by Git ie.

I'm running the newest git version 2. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. One of the reasons for this could be password changes for git and other similar version control systems. Q4 2014 was probably the biggest quarter native advertising has ever seen by several times over. Once the quarter started, the native ad players hit the publishers with an insatiable fury. They came all at once too. They were equipped with many big brand advertiser campaigns and some had what seemed like almost unlimited budgets with high payouts. This was a proven out by their engagement results. The ads were very integrated and that was a big contributor to the high CTRs. Either way, native ad performance was great in Q4 2014 and publishers will begin to really take notice in 2015.

The ability to place highly integrated ads that get high engagement and usually lead to white label advertorials is like a crack to big brand advertisers. Related Read: 5 Tips in Monetizing Native AdsAs the publishers and advertisers start to open their eyes to the great initial results of native advertising, so will new incumbents.

New native advertising networks will flood the market with high promises and low value offerings looking for flash-in-the-pan profits. This will accelerate if a big player like Google, Microsoft or Yahoo buys a native ad network. As with any new market, it will cut its own fat over time and the flash-in-the-pan native ad networks will die off and the top native ad networks that actually create value in the market will innovate and dominate.

Right now targeting is quite rudimentary and not too much innovation has been put into the native ad creatives. There will be a lot more spammy native ad networks popping up than value-add native ad networks. Be wary of which networks you choose to run your native ad campaigns with. Even the publishers that use DFP premium have no clue about it or how to use the features.

Google made a great step to include it in the DFP Publisher University. The first party data management tools are only available for DFP Premium and not DFP Small Business. Over time, the Ad Exchanges and RTBs will simplify the custom RTB setups for publishers.

Currently, most of the providers offer long setups requiring a decent level of developer resources to learn and implement correctly. The setups can be fairly complex on the DFP end as well when going through for the first time. These setups will be become more automated, the instructions will improve (ie. Later in 2015 aggregated custom RTBs should come into the picture as well, even though most current custom RTBs claim to target the most exchanges and DSPs under the moon.

This will be improved by Google. Setting up video ads via DFP Small Business is possible, but very cumbersome. Including video ad setup in Publisher University was a great step towards this. Expect unique video content to become more mainstream and a larger percentage of videos to be monetized as publishers realize how lucrative they are and as the setups become simpler. Much of this translates into the Google Display Network via contextual targeting. Google has done this so well, and has improved on it every year while building unparalleled advertiser confidence.

Most publishers would jump at the opportunity to monetize their display traffic with another big name player. And at first glance you do see randomness. But after reading the book a while I started seeing a pattern. I did extensive research to prove my theory. After hours of mathematical modeling I conclusively proved that there is a set of numbers in this book that it not only a pattern, but is outright sequential. The top corner of each page (left corner on the left side pages, right corner of the right side pages) was a list of sequential numbers from 1 to 628, all in a row.

No numbers are skipped. Even the prime numbers are included. At first you don't notice this because there is only 1 number on each page. But as you advance through the book you notice that the numbers keep advancing by 1 every time you turn the page.
